Who is Martha's?

A fine food and beverage caterer, creating memorable events for over three decades.

Our Story

We are not your typical caterers. We do amazing things with food
. . . and service!

It all began over 35 years ago at Martha's Vineyard, an ambitious neighborhood store with a mission to provide the best selection, value, and service to a wider community of wine and food lovers. Martha's quickly gained a quiet reputation for just that: West Michigan's finest purveyor of selection, value, and service in specialty wines, beers, liquors and gourmet – especially locally sourced – groceries. Over the decades, Martha's growing reputation for exceptional beverage catering services led to a natural customer demand to expand into food catering. Consequently, a little over fifteen years ago, Martha's Catering was formed to answer our customers' call for an elevated tier of food catering services, and we have not looked back.

We at Martha's Catering are grateful that our customers recognize our passionate pursuit of excellence in all our catering services – food and beverage alike – and that our stated goal is to exceed customer expectations. We are also most fortunate to have built a strong team of talented chefs and event planners who are passionate about serving great food and assisting in creating memorable moments. At each event, this collaboration between our customers and our dedicated, professional, and problem-solving catering team does just that . . . make lasting memories.

Chances are good that you recently experienced our food or beverage catering service at a wedding, corporate, or social event. If so, we thank you and look forward to serving you again soon. If not, let's get better acquainted so we can assist you in making your next event memorable.

"I can’t imagine how we could have made everything come together without your help. Our families, particularly my mom, are so grateful for your help, not to mention your patience. I feel confident there’s no one better to work with for planning a family’s very first wedding. I’d recommend you and Martha’s to anyone. Thank you sincerely."

What Our Customers Are Saying

"Ever since we left the reception and all the way back to home, we continually received comments about the evening and the wonderful spread of food! Everyone loved the top sirloin and were especially surprised by how moist and flavorful the chicken was. Thank you so much for all your help to select and plan for our dinner -- it was amazing!!  I hope that you'll have many more events at the museum. You have my huge recommendation! Thanks also to Ryan (your banquet head), who was professional and engaged with great service!"
