Who is Martha's?
A fine food and beverage caterer, creating memorable events for over three decades.
We are not your typical caterers. We do amazing things with food
. . . and service!
It all began over 35 years ago at Martha's Vineyard, an ambitious neighborhood store with a mission to provide the best selection, value, and service to a wider community of wine and food lovers. Martha's quickly gained a quiet reputation for just that: West Michigan's finest purveyor of selection, value, and service in specialty wines, beers, liquors and gourmet – especially locally sourced – groceries. Over the decades, Martha's growing reputation for exceptional beverage catering services led to a natural customer demand to expand into food catering. Consequently, a little over fifteen years ago, Martha's Catering was formed to answer our customers' call for an elevated tier of food catering services, and we have not looked back.
We at Martha's Catering are grateful that our customers recognize our passionate pursuit of excellence in all our catering services – food and beverage alike – and that our stated goal is to exceed customer expectations. We are also most fortunate to have built a strong team of talented chefs and event planners who are passionate about serving great food and creating memorable moments. At each event, this collaboration between our customers and our passionate, professional, and problem-solving catering team does just that . . . create memories.
Chances are good that you recently experienced our food or beverage catering service at a wedding, corporate, or social event. If so, we thank you and look forward to serving you again soon. If not, let's get better acquainted so we can assist you in making memorable your next culinary event.
"I can’t imagine how we could have made everything come together without your help. Our families, particularly my mom, are so grateful for your help, not to mention your patience. I feel confident there’s no one better to work with for planning a family’s very first wedding. I’d recommend you and Martha’s to anyone. Thank you sincerely."

What Our Customers Are Saying
"Oh my goodness…. You have a fantastic staff. They were all great, very accommodating, flexible, approachable and top notch. I can’t say enough about them. They did a fantastic job. They looked professional, acting professional and I would hire you/then again in a heart beat.
The food was great. I got more compliments on the food than I have had in years. I feel like I got a steal of a deal hiring your company to do this event. I was very pleased with their set up, tear down and overall experience.
Now for the bad……. And this is on my part. I didn’t order any Bud Light. I like to have 1-2 Bud Lights before the guest and my co-workers arrive and all I ordered was what I would consider premium beers. Very silly on my part. LOL
When David arrived, we went over the schedule for the evening and he was accommodating to our changes. Very respectable young man. When Jake arrived, he introduced himself to me and asked if I needed anything changed. Lisa and I had a brief discussion on logistics of the night, I felt it went great. I hope they felt the same way. At the end of the evening David tried to mop our floor, I explained that is our housekeeping's job, but I appreciated that he asked. Lisa tried to take the trash with her, I also explained that was housekeeping’s job. I appreciate they wanted to leave the place how they found it.
